Who We Are
Debby earned her BS in Music Education from West Chester University as a piano and clarinet major. She earned her MA in Music Therapy from Immaculata University. Her thesis was titled “The Social Behavior of Alzheimer’s Disease Patients Related to Music Participation“. She has worked as a Music Therapist in long term care and has over 25 years of teaching piano and clarinet to students as young as 5 to 102. Debby has firsthand experience teaching children with super powers as her son has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her specialty is crafting adaptive techniques to help children with special needs feel successful during music lessons and beyond.
Debby successfully taught all levels of piano at The Doylestown Music Conservatory until they recently closed, after servicing the local community for over 30 years.
The closing of the conservatory has allowed her to expand her private studio to enroll new students virtually for the first time.
