Meet your Musical Mentor!

Debby earned her BS in Music Education from West Chester University as a piano and clarinet major. She earned her MA in Music Therapy from Immaculata University. Her thesis was titled “The Social Behavior of Alzheimer’s Disease Patients Related to Music Participation“. She has worked as a Music Therapist in long term care and has over 25 years of teaching piano and clarinet to students as young as 4.5 to 102. Debby has firsthand experience teaching children with super powers as her son has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her specialty is crafting adaptive techniques to help children with special needs feel successful during music lessons and beyond.....

Debby taught my 3 kiddos piano lessons, ages 5, 7, and 12. She was very patient, especially with my middle child who has a tough time sitting still and focusing at times.
